How close are these horrible fires to you both? Hopefully, not too. Take care.

They are about two hours away from me I think, maybe a little less. We don't seem to be getting any ash or smoke yet, but if it keeps up we may. I feel terrible for people dealing with this.

So far they are a ways away about an hour. We just started seeing the smoke via haze but no ash and can't even smell it. I heard this morning that the spotters reported no signs of flames anymore just smoldering embers. Many are still under evacuation and hopefully will be able to go back home soon.

I am so glad you two are out of harms way. I hope it stays that way. I've not only been out of commission with internet, I've not even had access to a tv for the past 36 hours! I have a LOT to catch up on!
