What's everyone having for dinner tonight?

We'll be at the winery having Gumbo, Rice, King Cake and a salad with Maque Choux.

That sounds like fun, Jean. I haven't planned dinner tonight because we are babysitting, so we might just order take-out Chinese food.

Tonight is Shrimp stuffed poblanos with a cilantro cream sauce. The side will be a black bean, cilantro, and sweet pea rice. It just looks soooo good.

Just had to share - the salad for tonight turned out so good, it's going in 'the book,' so I plated one for the book picture and I'm so proud of it -

Greens and Maque Choux with Garlic Vinaigrette and Croutons

The next books WILL have pictures.

GREAT pic, Jean! I'm so excited about the next books! And I'm loving the foods you've been playing with while writing it!

I can't wait to hear how the salad was received. I'm betting another home run!

very nice Jean! Your presentations always blow me away.

I made chicken in tarragon mustard cream sauce from the DrGourmet website. It is one of my favorite dishes and we haven't had it in a very long time. Basmati rice and snow peas were sides.
