We are in Austin planning Allison's wedding. June was here for a chef's convention of some sort--Pepin was here for it so it must be important. She told us months ago that she was coming to Texas and would love to see us. We took her to the Iron Work BBQ cafe. I brought some Broken Spur Zin and we ate ribs, brisket, and sausage--she enjoyed it--I think there are better places but we enjoyed it!! It was close to both of us and she got to meet Allison, Derek, and her brother Eric. Jean, we gave her a hug for you. We took her back to her hotel--she is returning to NYC on Sunday. We promised to call her the next time we come to NYC.
