Off to do that. Computer came today - Vista. The computer is nice - and I'm putzing with it not too bad yet - but only loaded office.

How would a new computer come with Vista?
Not good, likely to have a LOT more compatibility problems and has a LOT of bugs that were fixed by Windows 7.
To put it into non-computer (but automotive) terms, it's as though you ordered a Toyota Camry with Michelin radials and they sent you a Ford Pinto with Firestone 500s.

It's a refurb - and so far I'm loving it. HP DV6 - I'm happy so far, the price was killer. It's a corporate model the hard drive will automatically lock if you drop it. Not sure how that works exactly but the software is on there? I may go ahead and get 7 - I don't think Bob's laptop has enough oooomph.
