Hurray! - labradors - 10-11-2011

The local supermarket that is associated with WalMart finally got something new (and for which I still hadn't looked for a substitute):

Now I'll need to start experimenting with it!

Good deal, Labs! Have fun!

Re: Hurray! - Harborwitch - 10-11-2011

Yea!!!! Oh boy are you gonna have fun now!

Re: Hurray! - DFen911 - 10-11-2011

How many did you buy? Can't wait to see what you come up with

Re: Hurray! - labradors - 10-12-2011

Just bought one, for now, since the instructions with it did mention cleaning, etc., so I figured it wasn't intended as a disposable item. If nothing else, I want to try it out, first, before just stocking up on them.

Re: Hurray! - DFen911 - 10-12-2011

Oh ok Cause the picture looks like you bought all those and had them laid out on the table like a prize.

So what do you think you'll do first?

Re: Hurray! - labradors - 10-12-2011

LOL! My camera needs batteries again, so I cropped a display picture I found on the Internet.

Not sure what I'll try first, but I may revisit the marinade I made for the last mystery-box review, but injecting it into a pork roast.

Re: Hurray! - Old Bay - 10-12-2011

Folks around here do a cajun injection in Turkeys and deep fry them. I buy mine (delicious) because it takes so much grease and several people have burned down their houses trying!!!

I think you'll have fun with this, Labs. I sure did last summer. We loved the C@H recipe for chicken.

Re: Hurray! - Harborwitch - 10-12-2011

That was really good Jean. Bob loved it. He wants me to inject a chicken with Frank's Buffalo sauce, rather that just basting it with the stuff. . . . why didn't I think of that.
