Leftovers From Cheese Ball - cjs - 11-26-2011 Tracie had a cheese ball - the 'with port wine' & cheddar flavor that we didn't get to over the holiday, so used it as a sauce for pasta last night. It was very interesting - added lots of pepper and some pine nuts, but next 'trial' I think I'll add some leftover meat/sausage of some kind. It needed just a little flavor boost, but it turned out to be a good idea when you have some of that cheese left. Re: Leftovers From Cheese Ball - Mare749 - 11-26-2011 Might be good in a soup, too.
