Lentils with Serrano Ham - labradors - 01-01-2012 This sounded good enough to translate. Not quantities were specified, but you can tell it's not something that requires very exact quantities. Lentils with Serrano Ham Ingredients: Olive oil Garlic, thinly sliced Onions, finely chopped Serrano ham, diced Parsley stems, finely chopped Lentils Water Salt Parsley leaves, coarsely chopped Olive oil Freshly grated Parmesan cheese Instructions: Brown (but not TOO brown) the garlic in plenty of olive oil. Add onions and half of the Serrano ham. Add lots of parsley stems. Sauté for 1 minute. Add lentils, water and salt. Cook to your liking: dried, soupy, al dente, etc. Remove from heat. Add fresh parsley and remaining Serrano ham. Serve garnished with a splash of olive oil and some freshly grated Parmesan. I think Trader Joe's may carry Serrano Ham but it might be sliced thin which might not be best for this.
