In the restaurant where I worked, pretzel rolls (made for us by a local artisan baker) were among the varieties we always had on hand to offer as the bread to use for sandwiches. Visitors from Germany and Austria always commented that the rolls reminded them of what they would get in their home countries. They made great sandwiches and I loved them. I have seen several recipes on the Web, but haven't tried making them yet, so it would be great to have a recipe that someone here has already used successfully. |
