Slow Cooker Bolognese - esgunn - 05-29-2012 I have a favor to ask. I lost my first C@H slow cooker book. I wanted to make the Bolognese recipe in it. It sounds great, but I would really love to hear how Trixxee's hubbie, Tony, makes his, too. Re: Slow Cooker Bolognese - Trixxee - 05-30-2012 Maryann - he used Tyler Florence's recipe. Tony used bacon rather than the pancetta, and he used 5 links of mild italian sausage (casings off) for the ground pork since we already had them in the freezer. I'm not sure why he didn't pick up some ricotta for the garnish. It's not needed though - this was so good already.
