What's on the menu for today??

The little bistro (where we had the escargot) is not open on Father's day and only open for dinner on Saturdays.........sigh, so we're going back for lunch today and have a repeat! Bad, bad for us, but what the heck.

Still spouseless and currently sick of chicken! Perhaps a BLTA sandwich and a fruit salad - I have strawberries and pineapple that need to be eaten on the double.

Take-out! Me from Wegman's, Hubby from a spot in town. I'm trying my best to keep Friday as "Cook's Night Off"!

Essential steak. This will be the 50th time that I've made this in the last 2 1/2 years, also sides of baked potato and asparagus.

Well, after our wonderful escargo lunch, we're having W. w. Divine Triple chocolate bars! :0

And, chef Jodie gave us a bottle of McMannis '09 Zin from Ripon, CA. What a great gal. And, I have her recipe for leftse made with flour instead of potatoes.
