Challah all done

Grilling

Ready for grill

The recipe is really long and it also gives a link to another site that has great pictures of weaving/braiding the bread ropes – so I’m just posting the links instead of the recipe.

That is beautiful! We've been looking for firebricks - but haven't found any yet. I will keep looking.

Thanks for posting the recipe, Jean! I can't wait to give it a try.

Re: Challah on the Grill - cjs - 08-01-2013

I don't think Challah freezes very well, so looked for some other uses and found an easy peasy dessert - Maple Bread Pudding that came together in about 5 minutes and left on it's own devices in a double-boiler for an hour. How easy is that!! And very tasty.

We always got firebricks at a place that sells woodstoves or I would imagine a place that sells cement blocks. Surely you guys have something like that around.

That bread is stunningly beautiful Jean! Honestly, between you and Blane, I would think you were food stylists, doctoring up the presentations, but we all know better! You guys are the real stuff!
