The Mind of a Chef - Mare749 - 08-19-2013

I am so behind the times when it comes to TV, so most of you have probably already seen this series with David Chang, narrated by Anthony Bourdain, from 2012 and aired on PBS.

But...if you have not, it is currently on Netflix and could possibly be found on Hulu or some other network. I found it fascinating.

We watch it Saturday mornings on PBS, and love it!

I really liked the show they did about cooking eggs and would like to try some of the methods.

Made the puffed egg for lunch today. Although I did not have Chang's fancy canister, (to whip the eggs and add air) I found that a regular whisk worked pretty well. It didn't puff up as nice and round as his, but it did puff and tasted pretty good in a bowl with some chicken broth.
