Finally, A Dinner Party - cjs - 03-05-2014

I think its been almost 2 years since I've given a dinner party - mostly because they usually happen in the winter and we've been on the road the last couple years. But, since we're home and we owe everyone in town a dinner, I'm having one Saturday!

How fun to do this again - china and crystal are sparkling, going thru all my cupboards for goodies I like to use for entertaining and have forgotten about....

My menu is finally set in stone (remember how we used to change them up to the last day, Lorraine??? )

Perfectly lovely menu, Jean. What a wonderful party to plan for and execute! I notice you have GF bread on there, is this just to provide an alternative or is your whole meal GF?

No! Not the whole meal, thank God. One of the guests needs G.F. and I wanted her to be able to taste each course and the hors is a crostini so I needed to do something.

Also, since I'm having 18 hour bread for the salad and entree, I thought I'd carry the option thru for her. This bread is not bad, but I'll only make it again if needed, probably.

How many are you expecting for dinner?
