What's on the menu for evreyone today??
We're throwing a dinner party tonight to introduce our guest to P.A. folks.
Dinner last night was wonderful - I'll post some pictures. But, I hope I can find Dismc/Shannon to tell her how much we all enjoyed the Mussel dish (but w/clams)!! Super dish.

It's going to be almost 90 here today, perfect smoking weather! He put a dry rub on ribs yesterday, so will smoke them today. He has some hog jowls curing (thank goodness for friends with pigs !), they will go in the smoker also. Macaroni salad is almost made, will probably have a green salad, not sure what veg.

New rule - no cooking for mom on Fridays anymore. What I am craving of all things is a pastrami sandwich so we might just pick up sandwiches from Togo's.

I haven't had a Togo's sandwich in years, but it was my favorite sandwich place all through high school. Enjoy!!!
I'm not cooking either. We'll probably go to Mellow Mushroom for pizza and cocktails...The bartender there is wonderful!

Nothing fancy here. Roasted turkey thighs, brussel sprouts and baked sweet potato.

Jean, I'm always here, just don't post that often. So glad you liked the dish. It is a good one. Now I'll have to try it with clams.
