Raisin-filled cookies - Mare749 - 06-17-2014

Does anyone still make these? This is not a recipe that is easy to find and some that I found had reviews that said they were hard to roll out.

Ron mentioned that his dad loves raisin-filled cookies and the only place he can ever find them is a store in Pa. when they go hunting every year. I would like to surprise my father-in-law with a batch of these if anyone can share a tried and true recipe that is easy to roll out.

I hate raisins in desserts, so I'm no help. Good luck!

Is this the recipe you have? It seems to have great reviews.

I'm not a big raisin fan either, so I'm no help.

Thank you, Alina! Somehow, I missed that one when searching and since it has all good reviews, that's the one I will use.

Sure hope he likes them. I'm not at all fond of baking especially if it requires "small assembly".
