What's on the menu for everyone today??
Grilled Chicken thighs (please God, no rain) and the rest of the red beans & rice. Probably a salad, also.

Sunny and 72 here today. We are splitting a chicken tamale and a cheese/chile tamale. I'm going to make some guacamole to go with. And maybe some spanish rice.

It's snowing here, but the temperature is just above freezing so school wan't cancelled. Boy do we have some grumpy students (and teachers).
Tonight we're having the carbonara from the latest issue. Based on Bill's recommendation, I'm really looking forward to it!

Kids are still off school here because of the sub zero wind chill. I just don't get it. We never had school cancelled because it was cold! Wonder what they do in Minnesota where the temps are like this all winter?
So, dinner tonight is going to be baby back ribs, low and slow in the oven, then finished under the broiler since we can't grill. Some roasted veggies to go with.

Cold, cloudy and some sleet here. So, we needed comfort food. Beef stew over egg noodles, fresh green beans, and he's making me rice pudding for dessert.
