Once in a while, when I'm in the supermarket, I'll flip through Vegetarian Times to see if it happens to have anything that could be of interest to this carnivore.
When I did this recently, I found something that I wouldn't like, but that may be right up your alley:
Asparagus Patties with Lemon Parmesan Corn.

I always cook asparagus straight up with no frills, but the patties sound good.
