Monday Dinner 12/14/15 - Trixxee - 12-14-2015 Is Jean sleeping in today? I am trying a new recipe today after Blane posted a picture of a French dip last week. It's "Slow Cooker French Dip Sandwich Au Jus". Then, I remembered we haven't even reached the shortest day yet! In my Safeway's 'Just-for-you' newsletter, I had 2 free coupons for Rana Basil Pesto and a bag of Rana Cheese Tortelloni - so guess I'll do something with one or the other...or both. Tonight it's a new recipe, peppercorn crusted roast beef wih port wine sauce, horseradish mashed potatoes and asparagus. Tonight we are having Jean's newest recipe for turkey noodle soup. Can't wait! We also have l/os from yesterday's Sunday dinner at Heather's house, so Ron will happily have some brisket or pork to nibble on or make a sandwich. I wish we'd had Jean's turkey soup!!
