Jean, I would love to see a pic of your raised garden planter.

Sharon, those ribs look delicious. Since I don't have the Anova, I wonder if I could do the same recipe in my slow cooker?

Dinner tonight...no idea just yet. Looking for inspiration.

Jean I have to tell you that these short ribs were virtually identical to my old fashioned braised short ribs done on the stove and in the oven, requiring lots of attention & time.  I had a half a jar of prepared sauce and a can of tomato sauce to make up the 4 cups.  I added about 1/4 cup of wine that I used to deglaze the pan I browned the ribs in.    The microwave simmered polenta was perfect in under 30 minutes.   I sauteed up some Crimini mushrooms and added to the sauce when I added the ribs back in.   If I can figure out how to get pictures on here I'll post some.

Tonight's dinner will probably be leftovers!  I want to enjoy them some more.

I would imagine.  I don't know if I'd want to go on high for 24 hours though!

I envy you the raised beds!  How cool that would be, but since this is likely our last year here we're sticking with what we've got.

We are working on getting our "garden" in.  I think we have 2 or 3 tomatoes. 2 Shisito peppers, 1 celery, lemongrass, sweet basil and Thai basil.  That's a start, we're late this year - weather has been sucky and Bob's hip is giving him grief.  Hopefully this weekend we can get some more stuff in.

The soup was awesome but one change I made was to use 1/2 cup of whipping cream/ 1/2 cup of 2% milk rather than just a cup of whole milk.  Oh, and I "riced" the cauliflower in the food processor instead of chopping it up.

Tonight we'll have another cup of soup and a filet mignon with choron sauce.

Thanks for the review, T. Your recipe is similar but just different enough for me to try it soon.

I have no clue at this point. Burgers are a good bet. We'll sous vide them first and then sear off. I am just not sure how the day will go.

We are having fish sandwiches tonight with coleslaw on the side.
