Off Topic - please pray for our troops - esgunn - 12-04-2006
Hi all. The kids and I went to a Red White and Blue Christmas concert today -daddy is off in Germany/Iraq for 10 days flying. The concert was put on by Washington Army National Guard 133rd Band unit. Towards the end of the concert a little girl walked out on stage and read a letter to her daddy (this was staged - they had a slide show and a young man singing the lyrics to this song). It was a letter telling her daddy how proud she was of him for serving our county, but at the end she just asked that he came home because she needed him to. It was just heart breaking. This is the link to the song. Please just take a moment and pray or remember out troops who can not be home with their families and the sacrifices they are making for our country - regardless of how you feel about the politics.
