Tried another version of the spinach salad with strawberries. This time used:
Bag of baby spinach leaves divided into two dishes
sliced frozen or fresh strawberries about 4 to each dish
handful of chopped walnuts
grapefruit/white wine dressing: 3-4 T fresh squeezed grapefruit juice, 3 tsp sugar 3 tsp white wine vinegear swirl together and pour onto each salad.
crumbled gorganzola topping on each salad
Let set a minute or two and serve
This was soooo good, but I have to know if it's just us or is it really good?

Oh no, it's not just your family, mine loves it too. Thanks for sharing your dressing, it's a bit different from the one I used and sounds even better!

Thanks Maryann, that was the first time I crumbled Gorganzola on it. That was the best one yet!

I love that kind of salad!! Sadly, it may be awhile before I make it again. There are signs up in the grocery stores apologizing for the condition of the fresh fruits and veggies due to the bad weather in California. The strawberries last week were pitiful, and outrageously expensive.
