Geez, I miss my mind!!! I forgot the pictures and I forgot one of the best courses that Sharon made!!!!
Beef Sushi and Daikon Salad - oh my, this was such a wonderful combination of flavors!! (Beg, and she might post the recipes....)
this is a picture of the Teleme cheese flambe, but the flame is not showing real well - God, this was good.

Wow, what a fun time you are having, eating, drinking, visiting wineries and most of all good friends. Thanks for sharing your travels with us and all the great recipes that you post on your blog. I look forward to reading it.
Are you visiting any farmer's markets in your travels?

The only Farmer's Market I've seen so far - in the bowels of Portland where the funny cigarette smoke was a flowin'
In Palm Springs tho, I have high hopes!!!!

Recipes will be forthcoming! Today is devoted to the duck stock and the confit that is in the oven and posting all the fun recipes that we feasted on.
It was such a ball - and Jean, I have to tell you that last night Sarah announced that she wants to go to culinary school! She also tried wine with her dinner and like it! The "corruption of Sarah" is complete! (Although the green fig confiture with Point Reyes Blue cheese did not hit her right!)
