We're avoiding Vista as long as possible! It usually takes Microsoft a full year before their new releases actually work.

Smart move, HC. From what I understand, two updates have already been marketed, and supposedly those are already installed on ours.
When we ordered these new computers we were just told that the "regular" MS programs would be installed. Well, when they came in, the salesman was so "thrilled" for us that Vista was installed, and that we should be "glad" for that because we were not charged for it. Well, he was right about being glad we didn't pay for it because we would have been first in line for a refund!!! It's maddening! NOTHING WORKS ON THIS!
In all seriousness, I'm ready to wipe the hard drive and start over with everything...at least I know things will WORK!!! Don't know what all the hype about this is supposed to be any way. As far as we can tell, nothing new, nothing better. Well, except for aggravation. Does that count???!!!
