Foodsaver Gaskets - luvnit - 12-14-2007

So I go online to checkout purchasing a new Foodsaver... I find out that they no longer sell the gaskets!!! You just have to buy a new machine????

Please tell me this isn't so! Where do you buy these gaskets?

I think Billy had a toll free number. Hopefully he'll see this.

I called them and they DO sell the gaskets, but they are out of them right now and they DO sell for only $1.

Sounds good to me. I'm looking for one.

Thanks everyone

You will not be sorry you purchased one of these Laura. Besides everything else they are great for leftovers. You just put the whole bag into simmering water until it's heated through.

Oh thank you, Billy - "simmering water" - so many people say boiling water.

Ya know I've been going back and forth on these for years and I think it's time. I used to do OAMC. I did it in the fall and made great recipes to eat later using a food plan etc. It was wonderful. A lot of work, but it saved a LOT of money and the food was so much better than store-bought premade frozen foods. But I think I need to buy one of these soon!
