Pumpkin stew - 1492walterfoster - 09-24-2008
I have lost or misplaced a receipe for a beef stew cooked and served in a pumpkin. I was sure that it was in a fall Issue of Cuisine at home from about 3 to 4 years ago. August, October issue most likely. Any help tracking down that issue or receipe would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome Walter. I checked and can't find a recipe named Pumpkin Stew or a Beef Stew cooked in a pumpkin. Do you by chance have the exact name of the stew?

The only thing I can think of is it might be issue 29. I don't have that issue. My index has varieties for cooking in issue 29 and a brunswick stew in 29. Only a guess...
