Ruby Red Grapefruit/Fennel dressing - Old Bay - 01-25-2009
We created this tonight--will serve with an arrugula/avacado/grapefruit salad-
1/2 C fresh ruby red grapefruit juice, reduced by half over med heat.
1/2 t fennel seeds, ground into powder
1 small shallot, finely minced.
1 T champagne vinegar
3/4 C grapeseed oil
pinch of salt (to taste)
Whisk all ingredients together-serve over salad or fish.

I don't know if I can spare the grapefruit juice! I am too addicted to those darn salty dogs you had to remind me of! I think Jean once said it so eloquently....."I dont know if I should hug you or slap you". teehee, hicup.

OMG, we've corrupted her! Hang in there Theresa! LOL! I still haven't tried those things...now I'm afraid....very, very afraid!

I have beautiful RED RUBY grapefruits available almost year round---thanks, Bill----copied, printed---and we love fennel!!!
