another freezing question - piano226 - 08-17-2009 HI Sorry guys for asking idiotic questions. I have to premake 7 dinners and 7 lunches for 30 people. Lunches are easy...Sandwiches is what they are getting. Dinners are a different story. I do not believe I will have acess to the oven. Soo...if I am a bunch of corn bread muffins...Can I freeze them?. Thanks Re: another freezing question - Gourmet_Mom - 08-17-2009 I don't see why not...I freeze bread all the time. Hopefully, someone more experienced with catering will come along and confirm or correct this assumption. Re: another freezing question - cjs - 08-17-2009 Well, you know me and baking/pastry - but, I do freeze muffins and corn bread all the time and it works. go for it. Re: another freezing question - piano226 - 08-17-2009 Perfect THank you Re: another freezing question - labradors - 08-17-2009 Absolutely. Most breads and cakes freeze very well. The Dessert-of-the-Month Club couldn't function with out it! As with freezing anything of that nature, remember to wrap and seal it well, so it doesn't get dried out in the freezer. |
