Hopefully you'll get to the other side of Oahu - the North Shore. Haliewa Town is cute little area. Nice beaches on the north shore and not crowded.

I can't wait to see more pictures! I'm living vicariously through you until our trip to the BI on March.

How pretty, I can't wait to see some "beach shots"!!! I'll probably whine a lot, though...

Told ya!!!!!

If you think that you are physically fit enough - the hike up Diamond Head is awesome, especially if you do it first thing in the morning. We were there when they opened at 6 or 6:30 - stunning views from the top!

We went to the Polynesian Center on the north side of Oahu - run by the missionaries of the Church of Latter Day Saints, I think (but it was several years ago, so my brain is a little fuzzy on details). While the tour of the "countries" was okay, and the dinner okay, the luau show that evening, performed by the students, was spectacular and worth the entire cost of admission.

BTW, aren't the natives just the most beautiful people you have ever seen?
