is now written in stone! I'm throwing myself a big birthday party Saturday and I've been dragging my feet on the menu, probably because like Lorraine, I'm so liable to keep changing it! So, I waited. Well, I'll start cooking for it today -

Salsa/Inmersiones Cuatro Maneras
(for the Norwegians this means Salsa/Dips Four Ways)
(Definitive Salsa, Bill & Jane’s Guacamole, Spicy Guacamole & Jane’s Hatch Chile Dip)
Cream Cheese with
Rhubarb/Raspberry & Apricot/Pineapple Sauce & Cherry Chutney
Old Time Lipton’s Onion Soup Dip and Chips

Surry Hill Beans

L.J.’s Greek Pasta Salad

Nothing fancy, just old favorites (to go along with other old.....nevermind ). I probably should not make the Kahlua today if I want any left for Saturday....but, what the hey

For the Spanish-speaking people, it means "sauces/dives (as in swimming) four ways."

"Dips," in the culinary sense, would be salsas para mojar or, in the Americas, they often just use the English "dips" or the Spanglish salsas para dippear (the last word of which is NOT a real Spanish word - just a "spanification" of "to dip."
If blueberry muffins have blueberries in them, what do vegan muffins have?

I think it sounds wonderful. Sorry we are going to miss it!!! Chris keeps asking me to make that Onion Gratin! He'd have me drop everything and go just for that!

I sooooo wish we could be there! The menu sounds so good. Caviar pie - oh my that could almost lure us off the farm.
