Re: (...)
It's the 24th of June already??? And, we've had, what, 4 days of summer weather? BIG WHOOPEEE!
Anyway, what's on everyone's menu for today?
We're having plain old delicious hamburgers using a couple of the buns from yesterday, unless the sweet potato buns call our names today....
Hmmm, swt. tato fries - overkill??

I'm thinking about doing our favorite Vietnamese recipe for fish and also Vicci's soba noodle recipe to go with.

I will probably have the leftover shrimp from last night. William will probably stay out at the camp tonight.

Not sure if I'm cooking yet but if I do, this may be it.

I can't find the recipe, can you pls point me in the right direction? Chicken noodle soup and watermelon for supper. Strange combination.

Thank you, Daphne, for posting this since I'm late responding. I make this all the time, but without the chicken and just use it as a side dish with some kind of fish.
So, dinner tonight has changed. I went to Sam's Club and got some wild sockeye salmon. So, we will grill that, glaze with teriyaki, and have jasmine rice and broccoli.

Vicci's soba noodle recipe looks delicious! Thanks for finding the recipe.
We're having Chicago-style deep dish pizza, assuming my previously frozen dough warms up and starts doing it's thing. I pulled it out a bit late, but I think we'll be okay.

Vicci's recipe for soba noodles was just the right combination for me. Very tasty!
