What's on the menu for everyone today?
We're having the Artichoke Cheese Frittata from
C@H's Smart Carbs book.

I woke up so thirsty this morning and I cannot wait for breakfast - a mixed berry banana smoothie.
OK, on to dinner. Grilled shrimp and sticky rice pineapple sundaes.

We got invited over to Heather's for family game day, so I have to decide pretty soon what I'll be taking...not a clue.

Pizza!! Derek will have his boring one like usual, but I'm making a white garlic sauce and putting roasted asparagus and prosciutto on mine
2 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons flour
1 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 garlic clove , minced
2 tablespoons fresh basil , minced
1/2 cup parmigiano-reggiano cheese , shredded
Directions:
Heat butter in a small saucepan. Add flour and stir until thoroughly mixed. Cook till the flour smell is gone.
Slowly whisk in milk, adding gradually. Stir in remaining ingredients. Will thicken upon standing.

Denise, that sounds wonderful! I had to hostess a shower today! OIY! I am so tired. It has been rainy and the temps have dropped so we're having The Best Clam Chowder Ever. Found a deal on canned clams while picking up the stuff for the party yesterday at Sam's.

I ended up making a huge antipasto salad and Heather ordered take-out pizza. Holly brought some pastries for dessert.
We played monopoly. Six adults and one nine-year-old, (Katie) and guess who won? Yes, she certainly did!
