The Back Issue Library Disk

  Re: (...)
I received mine today. Has anyone else gotten one? I am not quite sure what to copy to put on my laptop in kitchen. Just curious if anyone else has used it yet. Maybe I will see if it will go on the laptop...it is Windows 8.

OK...I have copied to desktop computer and to a flash drive. I think next I will try and put on the Google Drive (cloud). Then I can access from any computer anywhere. I think it is going to be quite nice. So far, I see good things about it. Will let everyone know is it works on the cloud.

Do you have to use the disc to access the material?
Or do you just get to download it to your computer and that's it.

What is the extension of the file after you copied it to your computer (e.g., .pdf, .txt, etc.)? When you open the copy on the computer, can you copy from it and paste elsewhere?

No, you do not have to use the disk. I had to copy and paste it to my computer. But it works fine after that.
