Re: (...)
Mom contacted me today about a friend, Allison, that loves to cook. When Mom told her about my forum friends, Allison was very interested. Mom asked me to email her and tell her about us. I sent off an email this afternoon and told her all about you guys...only the good stuff, of course...LOL! I don't know if she'll join, but I'm hoping.
So Allison, if you're checking us out...come join the fun!

If you come and play just look me up and I will be sure to set you straight about the crowd around here...

OH GAWD! I forgot about you!
>>>SMACKS FOREHEAD<<<<<<
Allison, if you read this, this "person" is NOT related to me.
OKAY, so he is like one of my kids...one who needs a smack every now and then for being impertinent.
(He's also a great professional chef....but don't tell him I told you that.)

Whatever do you mean about the "crowd" --you cut me to the quick--I have never been part of the "crowd". I am a true singularity! (Good word, that!)

I do like that one Good Sir Sage...
Somehow I could never see you as part of the "crowd" here or anywhere.
Hey Allison if by chance you are ever in the presence of our "Resident Sage" he is as good as they get...helpful, nice and full of a humour that I enjoy.

Sounds like the guys have formed a Mutual Admiration Society! Other than the occasional spammer, there isn't one person on this forum that isn't wonderful. The knowledge is vast, but the kindness is even greater. You would be silly not to join us Allison.
