I have a former student that I have mentored for the past two years. She's a great kid and has come a long way....from failing grades to Jr. Beta Club member. From fussing out teachers and getting in fights, to head cheerleader and teachers' favorite. It has been a rewarding process.
I'm asking for your help with her diet. She's desperate to gain weight. She's got a very high metabolism and very active. In addition to cheering, she is a fierce softball player and is very active. She'd rather be outside playing, walking or running than watching tv. Her recent favorite inside pass time is the WII game, Just Dance.
She obviously can't control her meals so much, but I was hoping you guys could suggest some snacks that would help her put on some pounds. She is ready and willing to cook. Her only food allergy is to walnuts.
So, what do you think? Any ideas?
