When I was in Guatemala, one of the supermarkets had a couple of ice-cream stores and one of them had a combination that was strange enough that I just had to try it: a Doughnut/Waffle-Cone Sundae. Here's how it was assembled:
  • Waffle cone
  • Peach sundae topping put INTO the cone
  • A scoop of ice cream
  • A hot, glazed doughnut similar to a Krispy Kreme (held on with a popsicle stick poked through it into the ice cream)
  • Whipped cream
  • Maraschino cherries
It was delicious, although I would say that, just by the way it's constructed, that it doesn't really combine together as well as a sundae in a bowl would.
If blueberry muffins have blueberries in them, what do vegan muffins have?

Sounds like it would be a bit messy to eat, but would probably cure just about anyone's sweet tooth!

Forgot to mention: they put the cone through a hole in a cardboard-circle cut-out so that there was a "shield" between your hand and the mess on the top of the cone.
