We needed a few things - chiles and banana leaves for my lamb shanks and a cafeteria tray for Bob's computer (it involves his computer and liquids).
We also figure that we need to experiment a little more since our long range plans appear to include a trip to, and perhaps relocation to Ecuador or Panama - and this store has foods and ingredients from all over Latin/South America. This is also the store where we get our pork bellies and a fair amount of produce.
We found some new ingredients I'm going to research before I buy them (Huazontle & guaje???) Now - the big find of the day was in the freezer section, a little bit past the quail, right below the shrimp - stingray for $2.99 a lb! Right now I'm afraid even tuna is more seafood than I want (oystered out!). I did a little research and I gather that both cook and taste the same. I think we'll probably go back and get some next week.
Also, got a yellow "sweet lime" that I'm looking forward to trying. Fun day.

You only live once . . . but if you do it right once should be enough!
