I receive some cooking magazines containing very nice photgraphy, but I have several cookbooks that I rarely use because there are not any (or very few) photos of the recipes. I guess that I need to know what the dish will look like in order to make that recipe appeal to me. It's one thing to imagine it, but certainly another to see what the author comes up with.
Is this important to anyone else? Or am I (gulp!) odd???
