Smoked Sturgeon

I bought some fresh sturgeon and smoked it. It is incredibly delicious. So I am thinking of buying a bunch, smoking and than freezing it. Does anybody know if you can freeze smoked fish or is it better to freeze fresh fish and than smoke it as needed.

I always freeze my salmon after I smoke it. Works great! I've never had enough sturgeon smoked at one time to freeze...darn.

I am going to run to the store today and get some more. It was just soooo delicious. I think i will try trout too, we shall see.
