Ok maybe I am just stupid but all the recipes call for is t., is that a tablespoon or teaspoon?

I believe lowercase "t" is teaspoon and uppercase "T" is tablespoon

Absolutely...little "t" is teaspoons and big "T" is tablespoons. I like it when it is put "tsp." for teaspoons and "Tbsp." for tablespoons but life isn't fair after all...
