I spent most of yesterday a.m. going thru file drawers to 'try' to weed out some of the paperwork from years gone by and ran across a few really good ideas that I had collected over the years...and promptly forgot about!!

This is one from an old friend that I really miss - altho he has made me a friend on Facebook (just don't know what to do with that site ) - Spoony, from another forum. He posted this four or five years ago and I sure wish I had remembered it before now.

"If you are using chicken stock for a sauce, try adding a bit of prosciutto to it and straining it, it adds a different dimension to the flavor that you will love."

doesn't that sound delicious??
