Re: (...)
I can't find this issue and I am planning a dinner for tomorrow. There is a recipe/dinner menu on pages 18-21. I don't want to put anyone out for typing this whole thing of course, but I've made this before and loved it.
I have a New York Strip roast thawing right now. I can't remember what the sides were for this for the life of me. If anyone has some time to help out I would greatly appreciate it.

Laura, I've looked and unfortunately the oldest issue I can find is #61 (figures!). But let me know what the recipe is, and/or what photo was on the cover. If I can remember having that particular one, I'll really dig into my old magazines to see if I can root it out for you.

LOL!! I can't remember for sure, but isn't this the issue that Jean had been missing for so long? (I still can't figure out how Tracie pulled it off, but she sure did good on that Christmas present!)

I started laughing the minute I saw the title of this thread! had to look to make sure it wasn't Trace that lost it.

We made the 'Better' potatoes and boy were they good!
For our menu I made:
Strawberry, Red Onion, and Romaine salad with poppyseed dressing
Better Potatoes with Sour Cream and Horseradish sauce
Roasted New York Strip with Mushroom and Red wine gravy
Custard Rich Rolls

For dessert (which my guests had, but not me yet) Cupcakes and Ice cream. We did candles and the whole bit there! The kids loved it and sang a round of "Happy Mother's Day to you!" White cupcakes with Chocolate-chocolate icecream
I am soooo full!
