...outside my kitchen window
When we return from vacation, I'll probably be fuming about these pretty deer and what they did to my flower beds while we were gone...
I trust the hummingbirds!

Oh my, soooo cute! I wouldn't even care what the deer did to my garden. They are so adorable. Funny thing about the hummingbirds......other places I have lived I had so many hummingbirds, but I rarely see one at my feeder here. It seems like a waste for me to even hang a feeder after this week.
Thanks for sharing your view, Vicci, it certainly brought a smile to my face!

Very pretty, Vicci! I won't tell you what William's comment was.

Don't worry, Vicci....hummingbirds are not very meaty...LOL!
Just kidding! William does not go for babies or mommies. He's mostly in this for the population control. If you hold down the buck population, the deer population will stay at a level that the deer will be safe and healthy.

That is a beautiful and peaceful view, Vicci. I hope the deer aren't too hard on your garden while you are away.
We have given up gardening for now until we can completely fence in an area just for the garden that the deer can't get into. We have had as many as 12 bed down for the night on the lot next to our house, just waiting to raid the garden for their next meal. For several years in a row now, they have completely destroyed anything we try to grow.
So, we enjoy watching them and get our fresh veggies from my in-laws.

Nice. We've had some hummingbirds, haven't been able to prove it with photos yet, though. Don't care for any deer that close to my house! We think of them as giant rodents here!

It's a beautiful view Vicci. Bob and I both enjoyed it.
Gee did I mention, I pulled almost all the venison out of the freezer yesterday - sausage and corned venison are on the project list for this week.

Vicci I just love your 'wild life'
Do they scatter if you go outside or are they used to you?
