Not the most healthy way to eat this but once in a while, I think its okay. Its very chewy and tasty. hubby and girls fighting for the last piece last night. Tongue

Ingredients

50ml Japanese Soy sauce
2 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp fine sugar
5 tbsp Sweet potato starch

Mayo or salad cream to serve.

Method
1. Marinate pork slices with soy sauce, sesame oil and sugar for 1 hour
2. Then add starch to coat evenly. Leave it aside for another 10 mins
3. Heat up wok with oil and deep fry each slice of pork for 1 min.

That sounds great, Gina. I'm wondering if it could be done as an oven method instead of frying.

if you want to bake/roast or grill, then don't add cornstarch/flour. that seals in the flavour when its deep fried.

don't over cook this..

Now where was this recipe last night when I was craving pork chops and just fried them due to lack of inspiration?!?!? I even had all the ingredients...LOL!

Okay, this one is on the menu next week!

Thanks Gina!
