Thanks, Erin, but Charlotte is about 4 hours away from me. We used to go through there to get to the mountains, but there is now a highway that cuts 2-3 hours off the trip.

It doesn't look anywhere near I-95 which is the route we take to head south. Well pooh! How nice of you to think of us though! I love getting restaurant recommendations for trips.

Well, I'm excited about this! Our best friends' son is currently stationed in Norfolk, and will be heading out to Afghanistan in May. We've been talking about a road trip, and Charlotte would be hard for us to avoid on the way.
