Grilled Fennel, Radicchio, & Romaine Salad

This is definately "research" with a little originality!! ;
I heat a grill pan (or grill) over med high heat--
Remove the fronds from one fennel bulb and split it,one small radicchio and one romaine heart thru the root ends. Rinse and dry well.

Mince one garlic clove, one small anchovey filet with oil, add 1/2 t Dijon mustard, 2T balsamic vinegar, 1/2C extra virgin olive oil, salt and freshly ground pepper. Whisk until blended.

Put the dry vegis in some olive oil and toss. Grill for 4 min, cut side down until marked brown. Remove stem ends. Cut into one inch pieces and toss with the vinegar dressing.

We had this with beef barolo---DELICIOUS with any beef dish,
"He who sups with the devil should have a. long spoon".
