So, what's on the menu for today for everyone?
We're off to the big city, so will probably snack when we get home. Maybe another Tortilla Cracker....

Possibly a corn & shrimp chowder garnished with bacon (new Cooking Light). A friend made it the other day and loved it.
Here is the recipe.

If only I had some shrimp! YUM!
I'm not sure. We've got bible study tonight, and we've been grabbing a bite while in town. We'll see.

Can't seem to think of what to make. Going to check FoodGawker for an idea.

I have some Hungarian goulash (made with venison) simmering in the crockpot. Will serve later with mashed potatoes and a veggie.

Well lunch was
Corn Dog Muffins. The kids loved them. Something fun and different.
Dinner will be a Tortilla pie made with leftover smoked brisket. I will use a recipe as a guide but will mostly just make it up as I go along.

Erin, thanks for posting that. My grandbabies will get such a kick out of that. They all love hot dogs!

So far, that pie crust felt really right and it sure was easy. In the oven now, next the taste test.
