Warming Leftover meat

  Re: (...)
This is an addition to my thawing meat on cast iron.

We had a leftover, rare, flank steak in the fridge--instead of trying to warm in the microwave, let it warm out of the fridge until cool or room temp. Then heat a cast iron skillet until just warm to the toucn--turn skillet over and place the meat on foil and place on the bottom of the skillet, turn once--very little cooking--still rare or at worst med rare--really works. Delicious!!

That's a good tip, Bill. How do you thaw meat on cast iron?
