What's on the menu for today?

No idea here, but taking a page from Daphne's book, I do have a couple T-bones in the freezer...

Do they have any meat on them?
If blueberry muffins have blueberries in them, what do vegan muffins have?

Uh oh, somebody is going to get sent to their room!

Something with shrimp tonight. Probably just a stir fry over rice.

I have to earn my parent points tonight. Need to set up the gym for a meet tomorrow. Probably just subway sandwiches.

That's okay. Labradors like lying in bed and gnawing on T-bones.

Apparently we must have a bigger freon leak than we because the guy came out to top off the A/C until he can find the leak and 6 hours after he left no more cold air blowing (insert very irritated face) and it's still too hot to turn on the oven so it'll be Chinese take out. Perhaps crispy beef and egg rolls.

All my cooking this weekend might revolve around the bbq.

"it's still too hot to turn on the oven " - and the envy continues...

You just keep laying there, Labs, finding more and more websites......

and I dug up some more potatoes so roasted potatoes and onions to go with those 'meated' T-bones.

Well, I'm by myself tonight, as usual. But this week, the employee, Jody, is her for the open of hunting season. That means the filets will have to wait until tomorrow night. Luckily, I have just enough leftovers for me and cricket...which is just fine with me.....fewer dishes to wash and cleans out the fridge.

Well, nothing for me, I had a fabulous lunch at work. One of the electricians brought in some venison tenderloins. My chef marinated them in my bourbon, soy, tabasco and brown sugar marinade, then grilled them. OMG, they were soooo good, there was little or no gamines, beautiful piece of meat. A salad with my chef's "Amazing Blueberry" vin topped it off perfectly.

Perks are good
