Very cool, but I don't do pies. The only one I do is my Mom's Chocolate one. As awesome as it is, I don't think it would win against gourmet style pies....LOL!

Yes, you do, Maryann - page 183 of a Chef's Journey...Home.
She also uses the custard (minus the chocolate) for her banana pie. Shoot, wish I had time to redo my apricot-pineapple cobbler to a pie and enter it. So good.

Funny: the first time I looked at this, I was thinking more along the lines of Chicken Pot Pie, Cottage Pie or Shepherd's Pie and didn't think of dessert. LOL!
If blueberry muffins have blueberries in them, what do vegan muffins have?
