What's on the menu for today?? (Yesterday, everything sure sounded good)

I'm braising short ribs in the slow cooker to have with mashed potatoes. We're having a little champagne brunch this a.m., maybe watch a football game (haven't forever) Picked up some of the sandwich thin things, so a couple of individual pizzas maybe.

Lots of deer hunters in this KOA where we are, but haven't seen anyone come home with anything yet. I remember one year when I was a kid, my Dad got both a deer and an elk - boy, we ate high off the hog that winter!!

Looking forward to this all week.
Everything will be all right in the end. So if it is not right, then it's not yet the end.

Tonight it's Surf and Turf with the lobster bisque sauce from the new issue, also the double baked potatoes and asparagus for sides. Chocolate Oblivion Truffle Torte with raspberry coulis for dessert. Sunday is the one day of the week that I can get really aggressive in the kitchen.

Heck, I don't want pictures....I want to show up for dinner! But since I doubt I can get there, I'll have to settle for pictures and drool from afar.

We're having Korean Beef with a veggie stir-fry. I'm not sure about rice.
